December 14, 2024 – March 2, 2025Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Street art organisation Kings of Colors invited me to make a painting for the SubZero Street Art Festival held at the Dutch Ice Sculpture Festival (Nederlands Ijsbeelden Festival) in Biddinghuizen, Flevoland. Together with 22 talented street artists we have created a eye-cathing expo. The yearly events attracts around the 120.000 visitors. Many thanks to Jan-Henk van Ieperen and his team for the perfect arranging and setup. And De Ijmeiden, Roos and Eva.
Imagine the vast, mysterious Neptune captured in the shape of a face, where the swirling clouds of deep icy blue and stormy winds form its features. This painted visage represents the powerful god of the sea, gazing across the cosmos with an otherworldly calm. His blue eyes, like the planet’s swirling storms, reflect both beauty and danger. This face is not just a portrait—it’s a gateway to the unknown, a reminder of the distant, enigmatic bluish water and icy world that stands at the edge of our solar system.
